Dr. Fritz Stahr

Dr. Fritz Stahr

Dr. Fritz Stahr builds autonomous underwater vehicles (“Seagliders”) at the University of Washington for oceanographers. He will educate anyone interested about the ocean, marine technology, and the cool things one can learn through science. He’s been known to row, sail, scuba dive, kayak, raft, and fish on salt and fresh water, but he’s never rowed across an ocean, or the length of a whole river, preferring to let pros like OAR Northwest take that on.

He’s also an avid fisherman, diver, and loves the outdoors.
